From improving operational efficiency to enhancing safety and ensuring compliance, businesses need a comprehensive solution that addresses all aspects of fleet management. Tracker’s FleetLogic platform streamlines operations, reduces expenses, and provides greater control over logistics.
Like an ERP system for vehicles, FleetLogic is a fully integrated system offering a holistic view of fleet performance with real-time insights. Its focus on exception management enables fleet managers to concentrate on the data that really matters and stay on top of critical issues.
The following key features make day-to-day fleet management easy and efficient with Tracker’s FleetLogic platform:
Telematics dashboard
Purpose-built to provide a high-level overview of fleet performance, the telematics dashboard is popular with CEOs, CFOs, fleet managers and business owners. It provides a summarised view of the fleet risk, performance, and behaviour.
Users can easily track the performance of their fleet over time, comparing current metrics to previous months. This enables them to identify trends and manage resources more effectively, allowing for better planning and adjustment during peaks and troughs in workload.
Risks in terms of time spent on the road can be managed by using the trend depicted in the dashboard. Additionally, poor driving behaviour can easily be identified and addressed by implementing processes to correct unwanted behaviours affecting safety, and reduce the risk of road accidents and the associated costs.
Fuel dashboard
FleetLogic’s fuel dashboard combines data received from fuel transactions, overlayed with telematics data, to create a comprehensive tool that can be used to better manage fuel usage. This dashboard highlights fraudulent transactions, fuel usage discrepancies, performance against OEM standards and targets, and cost per kilometre.
Tracker clients use the fuel dashboard to monitor the effectiveness of vehicle maintenance, noting fuel consumption improvements following a service or repairs. Clients also use these dashboards to identify the most fuel-efficient vehicle models and slowly transition to include more of those specific makes and models in their fleets. In one case, a Tracker client identified a particular filling station that would overcharge for fuel. The fleet manager was able to react and put measures in place to avoid using that filling station again.
Driver management
This module enables fleet owners to identify and assign drivers to vehicles and track their performance. It is highly valued by fleet managers as it helps them to identify which driver is assigned to each vehicle, and highlights those who are safe drivers and those that require coaching. A driver can be scored whether he or she is driving a single vehicle or multiple vehicles.
This module also stores drivers licence details, including expiration date and PrDP licence details, which clients can use to improve compliance. The reminder function will alert an administrator when drivers licences or PrDP’s are set to expire.
Customisation, integration and preferences
FleetLogic allows users to customise their experience by selecting a preferred landing page from various options within the platform. Users can also toggle between normal and dark mode for optimal viewing, choose the specific information they wish to see for each vehicle on the map, and track either by vehicle or driver. Additional customisation options include sounds, formats, and other preferences. FleetLogic also offers a full set of APIs for seamless integration with third-party systems.
Expense management
FleetLogic allows users to record and track expenses for each vehicle. This feature enables clients to compare costs across different makes and models of vehicles to determine which are the most cost-effective to operate, as well as analyse expenses for different routes taken by the same vehicle. The platform helps identify vehicles prone to frequent breakdowns and high repair costs. All this information can be used to enable more informed budget allocations. Additionally, the recorded expense data supports compliance with SARS tax submissions.
Maintenance management
This feature helps clients effectively manage preventative maintenance for their vehicles. Customers can use this tool to schedule services and maintenance, receive timely reminders for upcoming service or maintenance, and receive alerts for when maintenance is overdue. After a service or maintenance task is completed, clients can also log the associated expenses for thorough record-keeping and expense management.
Customer self-service
Self-service features help reduce the need for time-consuming emails and calls to Tracker. Through these tools, customers can view and download invoices and statements, check the services available for each vehicle, and update important information such as their address, bank details, and emergency contacts.
Robust security and access control
Complying with stringent security and access standards, the platform uses secure login authentication along with all necessary protocols and certificates to safeguard user data.
Additionally, account holders can grant access to FleetLogic for employees or business partners. Clients can create new users with either permanent or temporary access and assign different access levels, from basic users to administrators. The platform also supports custom user roles, allowing restricted access to specific functions, buttons, and vehicles. Clients can reset usernames and passwords themselves, and the platform includes a comprehensive audit log that tracks user sessions and actions.
Tracker’s FleetLogic platform offers powerful data analytics that empower businesses to make smarter, data-driven decisions. With enhanced control over operations and improved insights, businesses can enjoy smoother workflows, reduced costs, and ultimately, greater profitability.
