Mercedes-Benz Trucks SA launches ‘one login’ fleet management portal

Posted on: October 22, 2026

The fleet management domain today is becoming increasingly about digital systems integration and data processing efficiency. The challenge for developers has been to integrate information from a host of truck and driver management systems to generate ‘business intelligence’. Making access to that information easy for the user is another challenge – one that Mercedes-Benz Trucks South Africa has addressed with the launch of its new My TruckPoint fleet management portal that requires a single login point to access the full suite of Mercedes-Benz Trucks fleet management services.

According to Naeem Hassim, Vice President: Customer Services and Parts at Mercedes-Benz Trucks South Africa: “As transport operations become increasingly connected and data-driven, our customers need simple, convenient access to the services, information and support that help keep their businesses moving.”

As a centralised digital customer portal, My TruckPoint brings together key vehicle, service and fleet management applications in one convenient platform. With a single login, customers can access important vehicle and service information, streamlining administration and providing greater visibility across their operations.

“My TruckPoint brings together the applications and solutions our customers use most into a single, user-friendly platform, providing greater visibility, convenience and control. Whether operating a single truck or an entire fleet, customers can stay connected, maximise uptime, improve efficiency and focus on what matters most: running their business,” Hassim adds.

A single point of entry
Serving as a single gateway to Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ connected services, My TruckPoint provides access to Fleetboard, the telematics platform that delivers real-time vehicle, driver and operational data to help improve fleet efficiency, fuel consumption, safety and performance; Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime, a predictive maintenance and real-time diagnostics solution that continuously monitors vehicle health to maximise uptime and reduce unplanned downtime; TruckLive, Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ connectivity solution that provides access to vehicle information, maintenance planning, live traffic updates, connected breakdown assistance, over-the-air software updates and a range of digital services; and Service Contracts, giving customers convenient visibility of their service and maintenance agreements.

Together, Hassim says, “these solutions provide customers with greater control and visibility over their operations, helping them make informed decisions, improve efficiency and maximise vehicle uptime.”

Bringing new benefits into play
My TruckPoint promises a few key benefits, including: higher vehicle availability through early detection of issues and proactive maintenance and repairs planning; more efficient fleet management via insights into vehicle condition, usage and performance; a one-stop portal to view Daimler Truck Value added products (Service Contracts, Fleetboard, Uptime, S24H); and enhanced connectivity that enables optimal vehicle operations.

“More than just a customer portal, My TruckPoint reflects Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ on-going commitment to supporting customers throughout their ownership journey,” Hassim concludes.
