Tracker partners with Geotab for expanded fleet intelligence offering

Posted on: June 11, 2026

Big news in the telematics arena is that Tracker has partnered with Geotab to strengthen its fleet services offering, combining local expertise in vehicle tracking and fleet management with one of the world’s leading telematics platforms.

The partnership gives Tracker customers access to a broader range of connected fleet technologies through a device-agnostic platform that incorporates both Tracker’s existing solutions and Geotab’s GO devices.

The move is aimed at helping fleet operators improve visibility, safety, efficiency and decision-making through enhanced data intelligence and analytics.

Addressing growing fleet management challenges
According to Silvia Schollenberger, Tracker Chief Commercial Officer, the agreement reflects the company’s ongoing focus on delivering practical value to fleet customers facing increasingly complex operating environments.

“This partnership represents a meaningful step forward in our ongoing focus on delivering value to our customers,” says Schollenberger. “Robust fleet management platforms and technology help businesses navigate some of the key challenges they face today, including driver safety and management, rising operational costs and risk, regulatory compliance, as well as sustainability and efficiency.

“By aligning with a global telematics leader such as Geotab, we are reinforcing our ability to deliver reliable, data-led solutions that meet the evolving needs of fleet customers.”

Combining local expertise with global data capabilities
Geotab, ranked the world’s leading commercial telematics vendor by ABI Research, supports fleet operators across multiple continents through a platform that processes more than 100 billion data points daily. Its open ecosystem enables organisations to integrate vehicle, driver and operational data to improve efficiency, safety and sustainability outcomes.

The partnership complements Tracker’s existing fleet portfolio, including Tracker Elevate, a connected fleet intelligence platform offering near real-time vehicle visibility, advanced analytics and AI-powered operational insights, and Tracker Ascend, which provides growing businesses with vehicle tracking, driver behaviour monitoring and operational reporting through web and mobile platforms.

Ivan Lequerica, Vice President, EMEA at Geotab, says Tracker’s established position in the South African market made it a natural partner for expanding access to advanced telematics capabilities.

“Tracker’s strong market presence and operational expertise in South Africa make them a valuable partner. Through this new partnership, customers will have access to Geotab’s practical, AI-driven products and solutions. It positions Tracker as a true leader in the mobility space and it gives their customers a clear path to smarter, more efficient operations,” concludes Lequerica.
