Serco has joined forces with the Netherlands cargo control company, Loadlok, a European leader in cargo control products, to become the official distributor for Loadlok in Southern Africa. This will enable Serco to keep its customers abreast of the latest ideas and technology current available internationally.

“In the more than 35 years Serco has been manufacturing in South Africa, we have been fortunate to have developed relationships with some of the top blue chip companies in various sectors of the market. By partnering with these key industry leaders, we are able to jointly look for new ways to bring about efficiencies in the South African transport market. This is the win/win we are looking for in these partnerships,” says Serco managing director, Clinton Holcroft .

Loadlok’s CEO, Johan de Rooij, recently joined Serco representatives for a South African tour to introduce their technology to Serco’s key customers in various centres including Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Loadlok’s director of production, research and development, Eelco Noort, gave insights into the different markets the company supplies and then spoke on cargo restraints, multi temperature load dividers and what solutions they could offer for South Africa. He also highlighted their company’s double stacking system which Serco has started introducing locally.

Holcroft also addressed the meetings saying the goal of his company was to constantly strive to give its customers “the Serco edge. This means working with our loyal customers to ensure they benefit fully from the latest value-adding technology, thus giving them the edge in their markets.”
