FleetWatch has received a request from HighWay Ministry, an interdenominational ministry directed at the trucking industry, asking that if any of our readers have extra Bibles in their houses or churches which are no longer needed, to please make them available to Highway Ministry for distribution to truck drivers and other communities. All Bibles – no matter in which language – will be distributed.

Highway Ministry can be contacted to pick up the Bibles or they can be delivered to their offices at 15 Third Avenue, Jordan Park, Heidelberg. Contact Grieta Mitchley at highwaymin@lantic.net or phone her on 016-349-1996.

Highway Ministry has many outreach programmes one of which took place over the past Festive Season when they set up a tent at the Petro Port N3 south in an effort to interact with passing truckers, motorists, taxi drivers and their passengers to pray for a reduction in road deaths over the season. Bibles as well as CDs containing pertinent messages were also handed out and on one of the days, Radio Pulpit broadcast live from these premises. This organisation has its heart in the right place and does excellent work. Let’s support them where we can.
