Torrential rains caused absolute mayhem and panic on Wednesday, the 9th November 2016 resulting in flash floods in parts of Johannesburg. One of the major impacts was the highways which resulted in cars swept off the roads, cars submerged under water and complete havoc.

In the absolute havoc, these two truckers not only saved 20 lives but put their own lives at risk to save these poor motorists. This photo was captured by a bystander of a brave trucker rescuing a woman from her car. The ladies car was completely submerged in water and without hesitation the driver pulled her out of the car and began CPR on the back of their trailer. She is alive today because of this man!

We later found out who the drivers were and we would just like to thank them!
