The Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) Body has accredited the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI) to conduct conciliations and arbitrations, including pre-dismissal arbitrations, from 1 June 2013 to 29 February 2016.
This decision was taken following the high quality of dispute resolution services provided by the NBCRFLI. The Council works in close co-operation with the CCMA to deliver this service to the industry.

One of the main functions of the NBCRFLI is to resolve disputes within the road freight and logistics industry, as per its mandate to manage the conditions of employment between industry employers and employees.
“As an impartial body, the Council is in the perfect position to resolve disputes within the road freight and logistics industry, which ultimately contributes to labour harmony,’ says Ezra Bulose, Dispute Resolution Manager of the NBCRFLI.
“We bring further value to the industry by offering our dispute resolution services to non-parties within the industry, even though we are not required by law to do so. The Council receives a subsidy for every closed case from the CCMA, which encourages commissioners to settle cases quicker.’
