Following the breakthrough success of Tracker and TomTom’s first collaboration in 2010 which resulted in the launch of South Africa’s first commercial navigational device to offer live traffic information, a second collaboration has now been launched directed at fleet management for the South African market.

This has resulted in a new product offering called Tracker Fleet, powered by TomTom and sourced out of TomTom Business Solutions’ award winning technology. TomTom Business Solutions is a leading provider of fleet management solutions and is recognized as the fastest growing Telematics Service Provider (TSP) for commercial fleets in Europe.

The collaboration allows Tracker to broaden its philosophy of offering sustainable mobility solutions to both individual motorists and fleets alike. Tracker Fleet, powered by TomTom, is claimed to offers numerous benefits to fleet customers, including several firsts for the South African market:

Professional Navigation on the TomTom PRO devices helps keep drivers safe and reduces business mileage. Additional features such as IQ Routes, hands-free calling, Help-Me menu and access to live services offer additional value.
