2015-12-15 13:31

Editor’s Note: This editorial was written before President Zuma started playing musical chairs at the Ministry of Finance. His latest blunder – which has cost the country Billions – merely endorses my view as stated in this comment. So, the end

Ctrack beats the hijackers

2015-12-14 10:01
Hein Jordt, MD of Ctrack’s Fleet Management Solutions division, says that considering that criminals are investing in technology such as jamming devices to commit crime, it is critically important that South Africans consider their ‘visibility’ status.

Three cheers to Ctrack, the telematics specialist, for recently pouncing on a number of criminals who used signal jamming – an increasingly popular form of preventing a telematics unit from broadcasting its position to the service provider – to hijack

TRAC N4 going all out to keep road users safe

2015-12-14 09:58
TRAC is going all out to ensure the safety of all road users over this Festive Season but as this sign on the back of a tear-drop curtainsider trailer hauled by a Freightliner Argosy says: “Safety is your responsibility”.

2015-12-03 09:32
Linking hands to improve driver behaviour on the road using technology as the tool are AON’s Deon Grobbelaar (left) and Louis Swart, MD of DriveRisk.

The increasing number of vehicle accidents on South Africa’s roads, particularly those involving trucks, raises many questions about the standard of driver training, the safety of all road users and the soaring costs to repair the damage and lost productivity

2015-12-03 09:32

Chris Barry, managing director of HCV Insurance, has been punting for the introduction of a state-run third-party insurance provider for many years. In this opinion piece, Fleetwatch affords Barry the chance to enlarge on his thoughts of why he feels
